Here we have an aftermarket gauge for those very serious Diesel boost guys, for those who are running more than what most boost gauges read being 30 psi, we have our JRP Edge 0-60 PSI Diesel boost gauge. While out standard gauges read high enough for most peoples setups, there are those out there who are running very high boost levels and so we wanted to make sure they have an offering in the Edge range to cater for them as well. So this is the second in our line of higher reading diesel boost gauges, the first is our 2in1 Boost + EGT gauge which is capable of reading a whooping 99.9 PSI. So if you fall into the category of needing something higher than 30 PSI, and wanted your boost and EGT gauges separate, then our 60 PSI digital diesel boost gauge might be right up your alley.

Because of the higher PSI levels needing to be measured for this gauge, this model is using our trusty JRP 7-bar, 0-5v boost sensor. These are the sensors we developed for our multi gauge systems and have been in the market for over 4-years now with huge success. They are incredibly accurate, ultra fast response rates, and very reliable. With some of these sensors being in vehicles for over 4-years and still kicking on, and very limited customers chasing replacements over the years, these are a tried and tested boost sensor design that has severed many customers well over the years.

Just like our other diesel boost gauge, we have opted for making the graphics and scale on these gauges a little larger, we have done this in a way where if you were to pair this gauge with the EGT gauge, or our water temp gauges the difference in the graphics doesn’t look out of place, if anything they compliment each other. We here at JRP always go with function first, high quality components, rigorous testing, accuracy is paramount. But once we have nailed that side of things, we also like to add our own little design flare to our products, after all, people do look at gauges and they have to compliment their cabins. HIGH QUALITY SENSORS

The JRP Edge 52mm 60 PSI high level diesel boost gauge kit comes with our trusty 7-bar boost sensor, this is the sensor we developed back in the day and is still used by our products like our multi gauge systems, our Edge Dual boost & egt gauges to name a few. These are a 0-5v 3-wire filtered map sensor for great accuracy and stability with it’s readings. A lot of gauges in this price range cheap out on their supplied sensors, they simply focus on the look of the gauge and then leave customers with a cheap average sensor that barely does the job properly. Accuracy and reliability have always been a staple of any JRP product, and our diesel 60-psi boost gauge is no exception. When buying this gauge you can expect quality through and through. While these gauges won’t be for everyone, as not many customers out there are exceeding 30 PSI of boost, but if you are one of those customers who has a pretty crazy turbo diesel build that is running up to 60 PSI, these gauges will be a pretty nice solution.

AMAZING LCD DISPLAYS

The crown jewel of the Edge 52mm range of gauges is their amazing VA type LCD panels that were developed just for these gauges. As soon as you see them light up you will know right away these are not your typical LCD gauge, they have an amazing clarity & brightness to them. Just like our 30 PSI diesel boost gauges, these 60 PSI models are running the larger graphic design on the panels. They are super clear and easy to read, the increased size of the graphics on the gauges looks amazing and fits in perfectly with our other gauges that use the smaller graphics like the Water Temp for example.

The LCD panels used in the JRP Edge range took over a year in development process, they are a high end VA type panel which allows for superior viewing angles and brightness, the first thing you will notice about the JRP Edge gauges is how they can be viewed quite clearly on both on & off angle viewing, one of the shortfalls of LCD is as you view them off angle their brightness and clarity reduce, the JRP Edge have some of the best off angle viewing of any LCD gauge on the market today.

They have a brightness of 600nit which is also terrific, daytime viewing on some LCD gauges can be a little poor due to lack of brightness, this is not the case with the Edge range of gauges, and they are clear and easy to read in almost any condition. Also having such many selectable display colours means it will be much easier to match factory instrument clusters for those customers who want to maintain a consistent look in their cabin.

High End Build Quality

The Edge range of gauges have a robust design, the body of the gauges are a tough light weight alloy finished in a polished black look which gives them a nice contemporary look which will suit almost any application. These gauges also use a thick single piece scratch proof tempered glass panel in front of the LCD screen which slightly protrudes from the gauge itself for an awesome look that just screams quality. There is nothing worse than gauges that just look cheap, and the last thing the Edge range does is look cheap, they have a modern look which is also supported by quality housing and glass which just gives them that overall feel and look of quality.

SINGLE POWER INSTALL

All our Edge 52mm digital gauges have the Power Link feature and cable included, this is a simple way to provide power to more than one gauge with just a single link cable running from the primary gauge to any additional gauges. This is to save having to run multiple power looms for each gauge you have installed and reduced the soldering / crimping of power looms down to just the primary gauge itself. For any additional gauges you want to install, it is just a case of running a power link cable from one gauge to the next. It is a simple concept, but makes installing 3 or 4 gauges a much quicker and neater process having the feature be on the gauges.

REMOTE CONTROL

While the gauges themselves have a single button on the gauge body itself which is used for making changes to the gauge’s settings, such as colour selection, warning values, viewing or clearing peak values, each Edge 52mm diesel boost gauge comes with an external cabled button controller which can be installed somewhere tucked away in the cabin for making changes to the gauges settings after installation without having to remove the gauge from its housing to make the changes. Just simply connect our little button controller to the gauge and install somewhere easy to access, be it hidden away, or you can install it into your dash for the race look. Updating the gauges warning settings, changing colours, viewing or resetting peak values will no longer be a hassle at all.

WARNINGS & PEAK VALUES

All the Edge range of 52mm gauges have the feature to set warnings on the gauges, it’s an important part of any decent gauge solution for users to be able to configure their own warning values, and our 0-60 PSI diesel boost gauge has this covered. The gauges have a built in buzzer that will sound if your boost levels ever exceed that of what you have set for the warning to trigger, along with a nice little warning symbol will display on the gauges screen at the same time. So, if you ever get any large spikes in boost, which could indicate a problem with your turbo’s actuator for example, the gauge can quickly let you know. If you are running a pretty crazy diesel build that is pushing boost levels like 45 to 50 PSI, it’s a good idea to make use of this function. Another feature some customers may find useful is, the gauges are able to record peak boost levels, this will enable you to check what is the highest level of boost seen by the gauge during operation without having to worry about looking at the gauge all the time to catch it.
